To the middle aged guy rolling down LaSalle Street in a MomUV, with the windows down and teeny bopper pop music blasting so loud that I can hear you 2 blocks away at 8:00 in the morning…

To the girl in the elevator with the rap music blasting out of your iPod earbuds that everyone in the elevator could sing along if they knew the words, standing in front of the numbers, but not able to hear when someone asks you to push a button because you’re blocking the way…

To the coffee that will not stay in the cup, no matter how hard I try and always seems to end up showering me in its “affections” before I walk into work in the morning…

To the man at the farmer’s market who not only let his 3-year-old (ish) splash around in giant puddles…IN THE MIDDLE of a BUSY farmer’s market, SURROUNDED by people, but also was cheering him on…

I’d like to thank you. For giving me something to write about. And no. That does NOT mean we’re friends. Especially you, Coffee.

What about you, blog friends? Notice anything particularly frustrating this morning?

  1. Oh lord, it’s the first day back to school here so of course all the high school kids were back on the trains. OMG. Backpacks everywhere and a lot of 14 year old girl screeching and giggling.

      1. My old apartment was across the street from a private all boys school. Which was only awesome during Football season. Which isn’t as pervy as it sounds, because hey, free Football.

  2. Chrissy I suggest you listen to the Paul Thorn song on Youtube.com “It’s a great day to whoop somebody’s ass.” Catchy tune for sure 😉

  3. People who can’t stay right in the escalator…
The person doing the yearly shopping for a family of 15 who wont let me go first, even though all I’m having is a box of pasta…
